EPA Ranks top US Cities with Energy Star rated buildings

Energy Star Greenworks2020In it’s annual report the EPA recently published it’s findings on the top 25 US Cities with the most Energy Star rated buildings. Los Angeles continues to rank #1, but the few suprises are Denver, jumping to #4 (due in part to the city’s leadership from the Mayor’s office), and Washington DC, bumped San Francisco to take over the #2 spot. In 2009 the number of Energy Star rated buildings jumped an astounding 40% compared to 2008.
